Lady Railsplitters Hope For Win Against Catawba

SALISBURY, NC - The Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball (4-11, 2-4) team will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back conference losses when they travel to Salisbury, North Carolina on Wednesday evening to take on the Indians of Catawba College (10-6, 3-2).

The Lady Railsplitters will enter their first meeting of the season with Catawba as the league's no. 7 ranked team, while Catawba is in fourth place nearly midway through the South Atlantic Conference regular season schedule.

Catawba won both meeting during the regular season last year and the Lady Railsplitters last victory over the Indians came on February 20, 2008 when the LMU women won in Harrogate 71-60.

Tip-off for Wednesday's game between the Lady Railsplitters and the Catawba Indians is set for 6:00 p.m. in Salisbury. Pregame coverage will begin on the Lincoln Memorial University Basketball Network beginning at 5:40 p.m.
