Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chloee McDaniel as the new Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. With a remarkable background in player development, coaching experience, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture, McDaniel brings a wealth of knowledge to the Railsplitters' coaching staff.
Chloee McDaniel is a dedicated and faith-driven coach with a passion for both athletic and personal growth in players. She has a proven track record of cultivating a positive and supportive team environment, with a focus on instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience. McDaniel is committed to honing the skills and mindset of athletes to maximize their potential on and off the court.
McDaniel's skills include player skill development, training program design, game strategy, marketing/social media, travel logistics, scouting, organizational skills, team coordination, project management, character development, recruitment assistance, and budget management.
Her coaching experience includes serving as the Assistant Volleyball Coach and Regional Team Head Coach at Trevecca Nazarene University, where she collaborated with the head coach on daily training sessions, organized team travel logistics, and mentored student-athletes. McDaniel also held the position of Head Coach and Club Director at C2 Attack Volleyball Club, where she implemented customized training plans, designed drills, and led teams through tournaments.
McDaniel holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Austin Peay State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Trevecca Nazarene University. Her playing experience includes competing in beach volleyball at Missouri State University and Austin Peay State University and indoor volleyball at Trevecca Nazarene University.
Among her many accomplishments are being a 2017 USA High Performance A1 Women's Junior National Team Member, a three-year starting setter, a two-year captain, and the All-Time Assist Leader at Trevecca Nazarene University. She also holds various records and accolades from her playing years at Trevecca Nazarene University, Missouri State University, and Austin Peay State University.
McDaniel expressed her excitement about joining Lincoln Memorial University, stating, "I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work under the leadership of Coach Cash. I stand behind the vision for the future of this program and am eager to get to work with these student-athletes." She added, "Under the leadership of Coach Cash, the LMU Women's Volleyball program will grow to reach its goal of becoming a top competitor in the SAC Conference. I am excited to be a part of the growth of these athletes and the development of an elite D2 program."
