Lincoln Memorial University Athletics

It was quite a week and weekend for Lincoln Memorial athletics. The field hockey team tallied its first ever home win and the women's soccer team has torn through its last four opponents, allowing only one goal across that span. Field hockey goalkeeper Ana Carney has been lights out. Over the past week, Carney has an 82% save percentage, allowing only three goals while accruing 28 saves. Women's soccer winger Ryan Branson has been a driving force for the Railsplitters' offense, tallying two goals; one against Carson-Newman and one against Mars Hill, both in winning efforts.
