Lincoln Memorial University Athletics

The Lincoln Memorial men's and women's tennis teams turned in excellent performances over the weekend with the men's team upsetting 13th-ranked North Georgia and the women's team falling just short of an upset bid against 6th-ranked North Georgia. Marta Melnichenok and Ethan Hirons each went undefeated over the weekend en route to being named this week's Juice Spot Railsplitters of the Week.

Melnichenok went undefeated all weekend in singles. She won 6-2 6-0 against Union College at No. 2 singles, 6-1 6-0 against Johnson University, and 6-2 6-3 against University of North Georgia who is ranked 6th. She also won No. 3 doubles against Johnson University 6-2, and against North Georgia 6-3.
