Junior forward Kortnay Cox (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) has been named Railsplitter of the Week after leading the Lady Railsplitters to two victories, including a 69-48 South Atlantic Conference win over Coker. Cox averaged 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in those two appearances, knocking down nine of her 15 shot attempts while going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe.

The Murfreesboro, Tenn. native opened the week by resetting her career highs with 13 points and 12 rebounds in a 70-65 win over Bluefield State on Monday night (12/1). Cox was 4-for-7 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line. On Saturday (12/6), the forward/guard combo posted 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes of action in LMU's dominant win over the Coker Cobras. Cox's five assists matched her entire total from the 2013-14 campaign.
