Outfielder Emilee Solomon (Knoxville, Tenn.) hit .400 in the opening week of Lincoln Memorial's softball season, helping lead the Lady Railsplitters to a 4-2 start. The Knoxville, Tenn. native collected at least one hit in all six games this week, racking up seven runs, two RBI, two doubles and two stolen bases.

Solomon went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Georgia College in the opening game of the CSU Cougar Classic. Solomon then scored two runs in each of the next three games as the Lady Railsplitters knocked off Montevallo, Columbus State and Young Harris in succession. She had two hits and a stolen base in a 6-3 win over the Mountain Lions in the weekend finale.

Solomon has a nine game hitting streak dating back to the conclusion of the 2014 campaign.
