Elliott finished fifth out of 206 runners to lead the Lady Railsplitters in last weekend's Furman Cross Country Classic. The LaFollette, Tenn. native cut 33 seconds off of her 6k time from the Sewanee Invitational, where she was the runner-up and earned SAC Runner of the Week plaudits, turning in a time of 22:36.80. That would have ranked 35th in the Division I race, which featured teams from both the ACC and SEC. It was the fifth top-5 of Elliott's career in the Blue and Gray.
