Senior Braden Galyon (Powell, Tenn.) carried the Railsplitters to victory at the State Farm Intercollegiate on Monday, October 13, posting rounds of 64 and 70 to capture individual medalist distinctions. Galyon's opening round 64 unofficially broke the Woodlake Golf Club scoring record previously held by Lincoln Memorial head men's and women's golf coach Travis Muncy. It also matched the lowest round to par in program history. Galyon pitched in a two-under par 70 in Monday's afternoon round to top Tusculum's Brad Hawkins by two strokes for the tournament title.

Galyon concluded the fall portion of the 2014-15 schedule with a pair of top five finishes as he tied for fifth at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate back on October 7. Galyon carded an even par score or better in six of his nine rounds during the fall.
