Softball's Margot van Eijl has been dubbed Juice Spot Railsplitter of the Week. The transfer student from Saginaw Valley State University, hailing from Oosterhout, Netherlands, led her team to two key wins over SAC opponents Tusculum and Emory & Henry over the week.

Her two appearances both led to complete games, a total of 14.1 innings pitched. In her time on the mound, van Eijl gave up only two walks while posting a 1.47 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and an impressive 13 strikeouts. She is now 8-6 on the season, bringing her strikeout total to 60 on the year and marking her eighth complete game.
