Following a stellar collegiate career at Lincoln Memorial University, Jeremy Donahue took over the reins as head coach of the men’s and women’s cross-country teams in 2008. Donahue, who will be starting his 11th season coaching at LMU, also serves as Distance Coach for the Track & Field program.
Donahue was tabbed as an All-Gulf South Conference runner in 2005 and received All-South Atlantic honors in 2006 and 2007. During his 11 seasons at LMU, Donahue has guided the men’s program to six top-five finishes at the SAC Championships, finishing fourth in 2018. The women’s program has accounted for four top-five SAC performances during a ten-year span.
Additionally, he has coached 16 All-Conference men’s runners and had three All-Region runners. On the women’s side, he has had 12 runners tabbed All-Conference and six named to the All-Region teams.
Under Donahue’s guidance, the men’s program has placed among the top five teams in the South Atlantic Conference four of the last five years. The men have also been a consistent top-ten finisher in the Southeast Region, where it notched its highest finish in program history in 2016, finishing eighth.
Donahue is a 2000 graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and was a member of a state championship qualifying team in 1999. Donahue holds a Masters of Education Degree from Lincoln Memorial.
