Jerry Burnette Basketball Practice Facility
Located across the parking lot from Lamar Hennon Field, diagonally from the LMU Lacrosse Complex and just to the south of the indoor tennis facility, the basketball practice facility features six basketball goals and a host of other amenities.
Â
Possible through the philanthropic efforts of 2016 LMU Athlete's Hall of Fame class member and Academic All-American Jerry Burnette ('86), the state-of-the-art multi-million dollar practice facility is one of its kind in NCAA Division II basketball and comparable with many Division I programs.
Three full-length basketball courts, two of which can be used simultaneously, with five OES Scoreboards and a large viewing deck highlight the two-story Jerry Burnette Basketball Practice Facility. The main court, which runs east and west, is situated center of the main entrance and is complete with shot clocks and a larger OES scoreboard.
Â
On the first floor, the facility is equipped with an athletic training room, which includes a multi-person whirlpool, 11 offices for coaches and athletic administration, two storage closets adjacent to the practice courts, a storage room, and a men's and women's bathroom. Two conference-style rooms for film study and nutrition and both a men's and women's locker room encompass the second floor.
