CUMBERLAND, Tenn. – Nicholas Krauss won his match by decision, but the Phoenix of Cumberland defeated the Lincoln Memorial men's wrestling team 43-3 on Monday night at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.
 
Krauss defeated Ethan Gomez 9-6 in the 165-pound weight class for Lincoln Memorial's only points of the night. It was the first win for Krauss in dual matches this season.
 
Porter Finstad and Logan Simpson went the distance at the 125-pound and 157-pound weight classes, respectively, but their opponents ultimately pulled out decisions.
 
The Railsplitter men will take a Thanksgiving break before returning to the mat for home matches against Limestone and Patrick Henry CC on Friday, Dec. 2.
