The Lady Railsplitters took on the Wingate Bulldogs for their last home game of the season. LMU started with the ball in the first quarter.
Quarter 1: Within the first few minutes of the game, Wingate scored off of a penalty corner, giving the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.
Haley White and
Katherine Brislin both had shot attempts on goal. Around the 10 minute mark, Lincoln Memorial scored their first ever home goal in Railsplitter history.
Katherine Brislin scored the goal off of a penalty stroke. Wingate quickly responded and scored the goal off a save from
Keegan Gillman.
Olivia Rosini had a defensive save on Wingate's last shot attempt of the quarter.
Quarter 2: Right from the start
Katherine Brislin came out strong with a shot on goal. Wingate scored 3 more goals in the 2nd quarter, giving the Bulldogs a lead of 5-1.
Keegan Gillman had 4 saves in this quarter.
Katherine Brislin was able to take another shot attempt before the quarter came to an end.
Quarter 3: Savannah Telemeco started in goal in the beginning of the 3rd quarter.
Haley White came out shooting aggressively with 2 shot attempts. Wingate scored 2 more goals, increasing their lead to 7-1.
Savannah Telemeco had 2 saves in quarter 3.
Quarter 4: Early in the 4th quarter LMU drew a penalty corner.
Olivia Rosini passed the ball in for
Katherine Brislin to get a goal off of her assist for goal 2 of the game. LMU had drawn 2 penalty corners but were not able to put one past Wingate's goalie.
Savannah Telemeco had 8 saves in the 4th quarter, keeping the Bulldogs to a scoreless quarter.
The Lady Railsplitters will be back in action November 12, 2022, at 2pm, away at Converse.
