The Railsplitters had their first ever home game in program history and opened SAC play against No. 10 Converse University.  The Valkyries took over this game 5-0.Â

Qtr 1:  Converse got the jump on LMU quick in the beginning of the quarter and got a goal in at 3 minutes by Caroline Blair.  The Railsplitter defense did a good job of holding them to just one goal.  LMU Goalkeeper
Ana Carney had 6 saves, facing 12 shots and 7 shots on goal.

Qtr 2:  The Valkyries got 10 shots, 5 shots on goal, but just one goal this quarter.  Railsplitter
Anella Rossi did a good job of getting the ball out and away from the Valkyries to get them out of the scoring zone to give LMU an advantage. Â

Qtr 3:  In the second half, the Valkyries pushed the ball to offense to give themselves an opportunity to score.  Lotte Kanters got Converse a goal making it 3-0 and making it her second of the day.  Just a few minutes later Valkyrie Kilee Bradeen got a goal in unassisted. However, LMU held their own in this quarter just allowing 6 shots.Â

Qtr 4:Â Â Â In the final quarter, Railsplitter
Katherine Brislin got control of the ball to get it up the field to allow LMU to get in on offense. LMU just allowed 7 shots, and one goal making it 5-0 and the last goal of the game. Â
