Harrogate, TN

Men's Soccer (4-4-1) took on the Tusculum University Pioneers (1-11-2) on a windy Wednesday afternoon at the LMU Lacrosse Complex.  They got themselves back in the win column taking this game 3-2.

The first half started off with the ball on the Pioneer's side allowing them to get some corner kicks in early.  However, at 22:57, Railsplitter Peter Majer got a goal making it 1-0.  The assists were by Christian Hatley and Alex McNally.  Just barely a minute later, Tusculum got a goal and tied it up before halftime.

In the second half, the Railsplitters were able to possess the ball with some good defense by Josue Camacho and August Harp.  At 66:53, Christian Hatley made a diving header to make it 2-1 with the assist from Harry Cooke - giving LMU big momentum. Tusculum then came back with a goal at 75:45 and tied it back up.  However, this did not bring down the Railsplitters.  Peter Majer got himself another goal from a free kick making the final score 3-2.

Peter Majer now has 4 goals on the season, while Christian Hatley's goal made it his first of the season.

The Railsplitters are now 2-2 in SAC play.
