The Lincoln Memorial men's wrestling team will host a tri-meet on Thursday at Mary Mars Gym beginning at 5 p.m. against No. 13 UNC Pembroke and King.

The Railsplitters (1-6, 0-3 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas) are scheduled to dual the 13
th-ranked Braves in the first match before matching up with the Tornado in the third match. UNC Pembroke and King have the mat for the second dual of the day.

SCOUTING UNC PEMBROKE: The Braves enter the tri-meet in the Top 15 of The Open Mat NCAA Division II Wrestling Rankings thanks to an 8-1 record (5-0 SACC), with their only loss coming at Baldwin Wallace on Dec. 2. They have put up at least 30 points in each of their dual wins, including beating fellow SACC members Coker (Nov. 10), Limestone (Nov. 15), Newberry (Nov. 29), Belmont Abbey (Jan. 6) and Emmanuel (Jan. 12).

Redshirt sophomore Logan Seliga enters the day as the No. 1 Division II wrestler in the 125-pound weight class in The Open Mat Rankings. Other Braves in the Top 20 individually include sophomore Jake Piccirilli (10
th, 149 pounds), redshirt junior Rahsaan Vereen (20
th, 157 pounds), redshirt junior Shylik Scriven (19
th, 184 pounds) and redshirt senior Bryce Walker (17
th, 197 pounds).

SCOUTING KING: The Tornado hold a 7-7 overall record (2-3 SACC) after most recently defeating conference foe Mount Olive 22-15 on Jan. 13. King's other SACC duals included a win over Emory & Henry on Nov. 30 and losses to No. 7 Lander (Nov. 9), Coker (Nov. 18) and Newberry (Jan. 3).

King's highest-ranked wrestler is No. 10 Dallin Ewart in the 174-pound weight class, while junior Demetri Teddlie (No. 18 at 149 pounds) and redshirt sophomore Trent Mahoney (No. 19 at 157 pounds) are also among the Top 20 wrestlers in their weight classes according to The Open Mat.
