Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial University athletics continues in October with women's golf, field hockey, women's volleyball, and men's and women's soccer playing this week. 
 
Women's Golf will be at the St. Simons Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, October 16-17.  The tournament will be held at the King and Prince Golf Club in St. Simons Island, GA.  The Railsplitters are coming off a fourth-place finish at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial last week, where Rachel Mathieson tied Lauren Martin's low 54-hole score of 216.   

Men's golf will be at Albany, GA, for the 2023 Fall Hurricane Invitational playing at the Doublegate Country Club.  The Railsplitters are coming off two strong performances: 1st place last month at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate and a 2nd place at the Cateechee Fall Invitational last week where Max Reynolds shot a -15 (198).

Women's Volleyball will be on the road playing Limestone (8-6, 5-5) on October 20, at 7pm and then to Lenoir-Rhyne (16-5, 10-1) on Saturday at 2pm. The LMU women are 8-11 in matches this year and 2-7 in the South Atlantic Conference.

Field Hockey will be at Wingate on Saturday, October 21st at 1pm.  The Lady Railsplitters continue to improve play with strong defense.  Guadalupe Montaldo leads DII in defensive saves at 11.  Ana Carney is #2 in DII in saves per game at 14.23. 

Women's soccer will host Limestone (2-7, 1-5) in Harrogate for a 1pm SAC match on Saturday, October 21st.  The are coming off of a tough loss at Wingate, 3-0, last Saturday.  LMU's Women's soccer is 7-5-2 overall, and 3-3-2 in the South Atlantic Conference this season.

Men's soccer will be hosting #19 Limestone (9-1-2, 6-1-1) on Saturday, October 21st, for a SAC match at 3:30pm.  Currently, the LMU men are 8-2-2 and 4-2-1 in the South Atlantic Conference.
