Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial University athletics continues in October with women's golf, field hockey, women's volleyball, and men's and women's soccer playing this week. 
 
Women's Golf will be at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial on Monday and Tuesday, October 9-10.  The tournament will be held at the Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, GA.  The Railsplitters are coming off a ninth-place finish at the NCAA South Regional Preview last month, where Lauren Martin made the all-tournament team coming in 4^th place.
 
Field Hockey will be home on Tuesday, October 10^th when the Lady Railsplitters will host Lander at 4pm (6-2, 6-2) in Harrogate.  On Saturday, the 14^th, LMU will be away for a match against Newberry (10-1, 7-1) at 11am.  The Lady Railsplitters are coming off of a strong performance against Wingate on Saturday.
 
Women's Volleyball will host UVA-Wise (8-6, 2-5) on Tuesday, October 10, at 7pm. The Lady Railsplitters will be at Newberry (4-12, 3-5) on Friday, the 13^th, at 6pm, then will play Wingate (12-2, 5-1) on Saturday, the 14^th, at 1pm.  The LMU women are 7-9 in matches this year and 1-5 in the South Atlantic Conference.
 
Women's soccer will host Carson-Newman in Harrogate for a 1pm SAC match on Wednesday, October 11^rd.  The Eagles are 4-3-2 and 3-2-1 in conference play this year.  On Saturday the 14^th, the Lady Railsplitters will travel to Wingate (6-2-1, 3-2) for a SAC match at 1pm. LMU's Women's soccer is 7-2-2 overall, and 3-0-2 in the South Atlantic Conference this season.
 
Men's soccer will be hosting Carson-Newman (4-3-2, 2-2-1) on Wednesday, October 11^th, for a SAC match at 4pm.  The men will travel to Wingate (6-3-1, 5-1) on Saturday, the 14^th, at 3:30pm.  So far, the LMU men are 6-2-2 and 2-2-1 in the South Atlantic Conference.
