Delaware, OH - The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team fell on the road to Ohio Wesleyan 4-0 on Thursday evening.

The Bishops took an early 1-0 lead in the first quarter when Olivia Danley scored on the assist from Grace Ammon. Both teams remained scoreless in the second quarter, and Ohio Wesleyan led 1-0 at the half. However, the Bishops came out swinging in the third quarter, scoring the brunt of their goals with three in the period. The Railsplitters failed to match the offensive output of Ohio Wesleyan, falling behind 4-0 heading into the final frame. Neither team was able to convert a goal in the final period, leaving the Bishops with a 4-0 victory.

With the loss, Lincoln Memorial moved to 0-7 on the season. The Railsplitters will be back in action on Saturday as they play host to Coker in a conference match up. Play is set to begin at 11:00 AM.
