Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial University athletics will continue this fall with field hockey, volleyball, and men's and women's soccer playing this week. 
 
Field Hockey will be home and on the road this week: Tuesday, September 26, home against Newberry (7-0, 4-0) at 3pm, then away at Lander (2-1, 2-1) on Thursday, the 28^th, at 5pm.  The Lady Railsplitters (0-6, 0-3) are continuing to improve play this season with great defense and more offense opportunities.
 
Women's Volleyball will at Tusculum (8-4, 4-1) on Tuesday, the 26^th, at 3pm, then will head to Carson-Newman (5-7,3-1) on Saturday, the 30^th, at 2pm.  The women are 7-7 in matches this year coming off their first conference win against Limestone last week.  Carson-Newman defeated LMU in Harrogate earlier this month, 3-2.
 
Women's soccer will travel to Greeneville to face Tusculum for a 5pm SAC match on Wednesday, the 27^th.  Tusculum is 0-3-1 this year.  On Saturday the 30^th, the Lady Railsplitters will host Coker (4-1-1, 1-1) for a SAC home match at 1pm. LMU's Women's soccer is 4-1-1, 0-0-1 this season. 
 
Men's soccer will be at Tusculum on Wednesday, September 27, for a SAC match at 7:30pm.  The men will then host Coker (2-1-3, 0-1-1) on Saturday, the 30^th, at 4pm.  So far, the men are 4-1-1.  The Pioneers are 5-1 so far and are 1-1 in the SAC.  TU is ranked 23^rd in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
