Mars Hill, NC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team records their third draw of the season with a 1-1 draw against Mars Hill Sunday evening. 

Both teams had equal opportunities to score in the first half, but neither team was able to put the ball in the back of the net. 

The game would remain scoreless until LMU's Leandro Dos Santos Haesler scores a header from an assist from Dati Chinchaladze on a free kick in the 74th minute. The Lions would respond minutes later in the 77th minute when Peter Plougmand scores off of a penalty kick. 

Neither team would be able to score another goal to the take the lead the the game would end in a draw. 

With the draw, the Railsplitters move to 7-2-3 overall and 4-2-2 in te SAC. 

Their next match will be at home against Anderson at 5 pm, which is also senior day for the Raisplitters.
