Albany, GA - The Men's Golf team finished playing the Hurricane Invitational at the Doublegate Country Club. The team finished tied for 4th place at (-13), 278-290-283-851.
 
Finishing in first place was the University of North Georgia with a score of (-29) 281-280-274-835. In second place was the University of West Florida finishing with a score of (-20) 285-281-278-844. The third-place title would go to Georgia Southwestern University with an overall score of (-14) 284-287-279-850.
 
Finishing the tournament strong was George Durkan in tied for 10th place with a score of (-5) 67-72-72-211. Following Durkan was Loic Naas in 13th place and he finished at (-4) 69-72-71-212. 
 
Ian Taggart would be the next Splitter to finish, and he placed in T-21 at (-1) 72-72-71-215. Max Reynolds would finish in tied for 29th place and receive a score of E 71-76-69-216. Closing out the LeeAnne Noble Memorial tournament would be Morgan Cain. Cain finished tied for 46th place at (+5) 71-74-76-221.
 
The LMU Men's Golf team will be back on the road October 14-15 at the Copperhead Championship. The invitational will be hosted in Palm Harbor, FL at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook.
