Wrestling Closes Out Regular Season at King

Bristol, TN- The men's and women's wrestling teams finished out their regular seasons at King University tonight, February 8th. Both squads fell short against the tough Tornado.

The women lost their match against #3 King. The Lady Railsplitters lost 0-47, with many of the points as a result of LMU's forfeits. Of the five weight classes that did wrestle, four of King's women were ranked in the Top Three by the NWCA (DII) in their respective weight classes.

King would win the men's dual also, LMU falling 6-45. Kade Millsaps would give the Railsplitters their lone win of the match, winning by pin at the 4:41 minute mark in the 141-pound weight class.

The ladies end their season at 2-10 on the season, showing great promise for the young program. The men will await their future with the Conference Carolinas Conference tournament, currently sitting at 2-7 on the season.
