Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team is seeking revenge in a home match up with the visiting Mars Hill Lady Lions. When the teams met earlier this season, Mars Hill took a narrow 49-43 victory at home. The Lady Splitters enter the contest with a 13-6 record, while the Lady Lions enter with a 12-11 record
Lincoln Memorial is led in scoring by
Lauren Flowers, averaging 16.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Flowers is coming off of a career-high 35 points against Emory & Henry, including five made threes. She is followed in scoring by
Jordan Maney who averages 14.1 points per game to go along with 4.1 rebounds per game.
Alexa Smiddy is the only other Lady Railsplitter currently averaging double figure points per game, with 11.6 points per game. She also chips in 2.7 rebounds per game. Geo Rios continues to be one of the best rebounding guards in the conference, hauling in 8.4 rebounds per game from the point guard position. She also chips in 8.5 points per game, nearly averaging a double-double.
Matty Tanner leads the Lady Splitters in three pointers made and three point field goal percentage (41, .387). Much like Rios,
Chloe Savage is also playing some very well-rounded basketball, averaging 6.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
