Gainesville, GA- The Lincoln Memorial University Men's Golf team finished playing the UNG Mizuno Collegiate tournament at the Chattahoochee Golf Club. The team finished in 4th place at (-15), 284-278-287-849.
Winning the tournament would be Lee University with an overall score of 834 (-30), and in second place would be the University of North Georgia with a score of 836 (-28). Lastly, the third place school would be the University of West Florida at 844 (-20).
George Durkan,
Loic Naas, and
Max Reynolds tied for 16th place. Durkan would have finished with a score of (-3) 75-70-68-213, while Naas finished at (-3) 71-66-76-213. Additionally, Reynolds's score was (-3) 69-71-73-213.
Just behind his fellow Railsplitters was
Ian Taggart with a tie for 25th place finish. His score amounted to be (-2) 72-72-70-214.
Jamie Dean would be the next Splitter landing himself in T48, and finished with a score of (+3) 72-71-76-219. The final Splitter was
Morgan Cain who finished at (+4) 72-75-73-220 and he was T52.
The LMU Men's Golf team will be back on the road October 7-8 at the Hurricane Invitational. The invitational will be hosted in Albany, GA at the Doublegate Country Club.
