Rock Hill, SC - Ronan O'Mahony Blondel has been named the Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the South Atlantic Conference.
O'Mahony Blondel is earning his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management, and currently has a 3.956 GPA. He is a three-time SAC Dean's List honoree, a two-time SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree, a three-time ABE Scholar, and two-time recipient of the NCAA Division II ADA Regional Academic Achievement Award. He was also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma and earned LMU Scholar Athlete of the Week and LMU Juicespot Railsplitter of the Week recognition during his career.
On the field, O'Mahony Blondel appeared in 62 career matches with 48 starts, totaling nine goals and 12 assists. He earned SAC All-Conference honors in 2024 and 2025 and was selected to the SAC All-Tournament Team in 2022, 2023, and 2025. During the 2025 postseason, he was named SAC Tournament MVP after helping lead the Railsplitters to the SAC Championship. He also served as a team captain during his senior year.
O'Mahony Blondel made a strong impact off the field as well, partnering with ROHO and volunteering by reading to students at Ellen Myers Elementary School in 2023, 2024, and 2025, further exemplifying his leadership and service.
