Bluefield, WV - The Lincoln Memorial men's and women's wrestling teams were in action in Bluefield, WV on Thursday night for their final dual of the season. The men's team fell 29-19 and the women's team was defeated 25-5.

In the men's 125 class, Bluefield State took an early 6-0 lead due to a Lincoln Memorial forfeiture. The Railsplitters won the first bout wrestled when Adam Szewczyk defeated Luke Roberts by major decision, 11-0, to cut the Big Blue lead to 6-4. Lincoln Memorial took a win by forfeiture in the 141 class to take a 10-6 lead. James Thaxton kept the momentum going in the 149 class, taking a 10-3 decision to extend the Railsplitters lead to 13-6. Bluefield State regained the lead 23-13 following three straight victories. Moses Eads defeated Julian Smith in the 157 class by tech. fall, Kairyn Hall defeated Randy Bucsok by fall, and Thomas Dolo took a victory by forfeit to see the Big Blue jump out in front by double digits.Andrew Overbay took a victory by forfeit in the 184 class, cutting the lead to 23-19. However, a forfeit in the 285 class from Lincoln Memorial saw Bluefield State secure a 29-19 victory.

In women's action, the 103 class and 110 class were double forfeits. Bluefield State took a victory by forfeit in 117 to take a 6-0 lead. The 124 class was also a double forfeit. In the 131 class Caitlyn Ash defeated Calista Gibson by fall to give the Big Blue a 10-0 lead. Saleh Ibtasam took a victory for Bluefield State in the 138 class, defeating Stephanie Castro  by fall to extend the lead to 15-0. Shonticia Taft took a victory by forfeit in the 145 class to tally Lincoln Memorial's only points of the dual, cutting the lead to 15-5. A win by Hannah Catungal in the 160 class over Sophia Walls by fall and forfeit victory in the 207 class saw Bluefield State secure a 25-5 victory.
