Harrogate, TN - After opening the season with solid showings across the board in the EKU Open last weekend, the Lincoln Memorial track and field teams are slated to be in Atlanta, GA at Emory University for the "Thrills in the Hills" on Friday.

Director of Track and Field, Rochelle Black, spotlighted the meet as an opportunity to adjust to the outdoor season, while addressing the goals set forth for the teams in the preseason. "While we've been going at this for a while now, we still have to adjust to the outdoor elements," he said. "Now is as good of a time as any. Emory hosts quality meets, and it's good to get south with warmer weather. While the season just started, we've only got a month until our next championship, so we do need to be more selective, and deliberate, with our efforts. We've enjoyed spring break, but we still have some competitions to get ready for."
