Albany, GA – The Lincoln Memorial University Men's Golf team finished tied for seventh place at the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by Georgia Southwestern at Doublegate Country Club. The Railsplitters closed the three-round event with a total score of 884 (+20), matching Saint Leo on the team leaderboard.
Florida Southern claimed the team title at 858 (–6), followed by Columbus State in second at 866 (+2) and Georgia Southwestern in third at 868 (+4).
For LMU, Edward Mason and Harry Dickins led the team with identical totals of 220 (+4) to tie for 20th place. Mason saved his best for the final round, carding a 68 (–4), while Dickins opened strong with a 71 and followed with steady rounds of 76 and 73.
Harry McGuire and Morgan Cain each tied for 37th at 224 (+8). McGuire posted rounds of 73–76–75, while Cain followed up his individual win at the Mizuno Intercollegiate with 78–75–71. Dylan Hussey rounded out the Railsplitter lineup, finishing tied for 44th at 226 (+10) with rounds of 74–76–76.
Competing individually, Oliver Ulmo finished tied for 66th at 233 (+17), highlighted by a final-round 75.
The Railsplitters will return to the course October 6–7 at the McCoy Wright Invite, hosted by Anderson at The Currahee Club in Toccoa, Ga.
