ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - Lincoln Memorial men's golf opened the spring slate with an 11th-place finish at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, posting a three-round total of 915 (+51) at St. Johns Golf & Country Club (306–298–311).
St. Mary's (TX) captured the team title at 865 (+1), while North Georgia finished second at 875 (+11). Georgia Southwestern and Catawba shared third at 888 (+24) in a field that featured multiple nationally ranked programs.
Individually, Harry Dickins paced LMU with a T-9 finish at 219 (+3), turning in rounds of 71–73–75. Morgan Cain followed with a 45th-place showing at 229 (+13) (77–75–77), and Edward Mason finished T-53 at 231 (+15) (75–75–81). Ryan Gavin placed T-77 at 236 (+20) (83–75–78), while Oliver Ulmo rounded out the LMU scoring five with a T-94 finish at 245 (+29) (83–76–86).
The tournament marked LMU's return to action after the fall season concluded with an 11th-place finish at the Golfweek Fripp Island to Bermuda Invite and served as an early spring test against a deep field that included teams ranked inside the national top 25.
Lincoln Memorial will continue its spring schedule March 1–3 at the Las Vegas Desert Classic at Boulder Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada.
