Men’s Golf Takes Third at First Federal Southeastern Collegiate Behind Dickins’ Individual Win

LOWNDES COUNTY, GA – Lincoln Memorial University men's golf kept its spring momentum rolling this week with a third-place finish at the 2026 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate (Mar. 9–10), hosted by Valdosta State at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Competing against one of the strongest fields of the season, LMU posted a three-round 848 (–16) with rounds of 279–273–296 to land on the podium behind No. 3 West Florida (843, –21) and No. 11 Columbus State (846, –18).

The headline moment belonged to Harry Dickins, who delivered a statement performance to win the individual title at 203 (–13). Dickins opened with a 67 (–5), went even lower with a second-round 64 (–8) to take control of the leaderboard, and then closed with a 72 to finish the job. His victory came in a stacked individual race that included West Florida's Cooper Tendick and Barry's Eduardo Matarazzo, who both finished at 204 (–12).

LMU backed up the individual win with strong scoring throughout the lineup. Morgan Cain and Ryan Gavin both finished T-15 at 213 (–3), with Cain carding 71–68–74 and Gavin posting 69–70–74. Edward Mason added another solid week in T-43 at 219 (+3) (72–71–76), while Dylan Hussey rounded out the scoring five in T-82 at 229 (+13) (75–78–76).

The top-three finish continues a strong run for the Railsplitters as the spring season heats up. Just last week, LMU turned in a runner-up finish at the Las Vegas Desert Classic with a 858 (–6) total, powered by Mason's second-place individual finish. With back-to-back weeks producing a team podium and now an individual win, LMU has firmly established itself as one of the hottest lineups in Division II heading into the heart of the spring slate.

Lincoln Memorial returns to action March 23–24 at the Tennessee River Rumble in Loudon County, Tennessee, hosted at WindRiver Golf Club.
