The Railsplitters' week was highlighted by another signature performance from freshman Harry Dickins, who finished as the SAC Individual Tournament Champion after finishing 10-under in stroke play. Dickins delivered one of the moments of the tournament in Sunday's final round, birdieing the last three holes to clinch medalist honors and continue what has been a standout debut season.
As a team, LMU battled through three rounds to finish second in stroke play, earning a spot in Tuesday's medal match play and setting up a semifinal showdown with Catawba. The Railsplitters took care of business to advance to the championship match, where they faced No. 5 Wingate, one of the top teams in Division II. Wingate ultimately secured the conference title with a 5-0 win in the final.
Lincoln Memorial still had several notable performances across the lineup during the week. Ryan Gavin continued his strong form and tied for fourth in stroke play at +1, while Edward Mason finished T12 and Morgan Cain placed T15 to help keep LMU near the top of the leaderboard throughout the championship. Dickin sand Gavin were also recognized on the event's All-Tournament team, underscoring the depth of LMU's performance across the full week.
With the SAC Championship complete, the Railsplitters will now await the NCAA selection process, with hopes of earning a bid to the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional (May 7–9) in Valdosta, Georgia.
