Harrogate, TN – Men's senior tennis athlete Radu Florea and women's soccer junior midfielder Edie Wilds have been tabbed as the Juice Spot Co-Railsplitters of the Week following stellar athletic performances in their respective sports.

Radu Florea put together an impressive championship run at the Palmetto Invitational Tournament to capture the Men's Tennis Singles Open Primary Draw title. Entering the tournament as the fourth seed, Florea opened competition with a dominant 6-0, 6-4 victory over an opponent from Chowan. He followed that up with a commanding 6-1, 6-1 win in the Round of 16 against Belmont Abbey. In the quarterfinals, Florea battled through a tough three-set thriller against the eighth seed from Lenoir-Rhyne, ultimately prevailing 6-4, 0-6, 11-9. He continued his resilient play in the semifinals with a hard-fought 4-6, 6-0, 11-9 victory, once again defeating an opponent from Lenoir-Rhyne. Florea capped off his remarkable tournament by sweeping the seventh seed from Wingate 6-3, 6-3 in the championship match. In addition to his singles success, Florea teamed up with Danilo Gruic in doubles play to secure an 8-2 victory over Belmont Abbey.

On the soccer pitch, Edie Wilds delivered a clutch offensive performance for the Railsplitters by tallying three goals and an assist over the course of the week. Wilds showcased her exceptional playmaking abilities during a challenging match against Tusculum played amidst heavy rain conditions, where she recorded two goals and an assist. She followed up that stellar outing in the very next game by scoring a crucial game-tying goal in the 38th minute against Wingate, helping fuel the team's momentum.
