NORMAN, Okla.– Lincoln Memorial University men's golf team will start off the 2026-2027 campaign ranked No. 8 nationally to start the year in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Railsplitters left off the previous season ranked No. 12 after a strong second-half push that led them being runners-up in the South Atlantic Conference Championship. The Railsplitters postseason run ended in the South/Southeast Regional with an eleventh-place finish.
Lincoln Memorial returns sophomore Harry Dickins, who garnered SAC Freshman of the Year and first-team All-Conference honors, as well as taking the SAC Individual Tournament Championship during the 2025-26 season. Standout Morgan Cain returns for his senior season after being named second-team All-Conference and claiming individual medalist honors in the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate for the 2025-26 season.
The Railsplitters will have their first action of the season on Sept. 21-22 with a trip to Dahlonega, Georgia to compete in the Lake Lanier Collegiate Classic at Achasta Golf Club hosted by No. 13 North Georgia.
