Played at nearby Gate City High School, where she was the VHSL Group A singles champion in 2014 and runner up in 2013 and 2012....Was the state champion in doubles in 2015 and runner up in 2014, 2013 and 2012... Helped lead Gate City to state championships in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
