Brad Robinson

Brad Robinson enters his third season as head coach of the men's and women's golf programs in 2025-26.

Robinson was promoted to head coach of the programs in June of 2023. Since becoming head coach, Robinson has guided the men's team to back-to-back South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Championships in 2024 and 2025, securing automatic bids to the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional each year. In 2024-25, the team advanced to the national championship and finished in the top 10 nationally—marking the program’s first national championship appearance since 2019 and its first under Robinson’s leadership.

Over the past two seasons on the men's side, Robinson has been named SAC Coach of the Year twice and is a two-time finalist for the NCAA Division II Dave Williams National Coach of the Year award. Under his guidance, the men's team has recorded eight wins and 14 top-three finishes, climbing as high as No. 2 in the national rankings in 2023-24 and No. 3 in 2024-25. Individually, the program has produced 3 SAC Golfers of the Week, 10 All-Conference selections, 2 SAC Golfers of the Year, and 1 SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Seven individuals have finished the season ranked among the top 50 nationally. Additional honors include 3 GCAA PING All-Region selections, 3 GCAA PING All-Americans, and the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award.

The women’s golf team has also made significant strides under Robinson's leadership. The team earned its first-ever NCAA South Regional team bid in 2024-25, following a third-place SAC Tournament finish—their second consecutive third-place finish in the SAC championship. In 2023-24, the team produced an individual SAC Tournament champion who received an NCAA regional bid. Overall, the women have claimed 2 team wins and 8 top-three finishes in the past two seasons, with their highest national rankings being No. 24 in 2023-24 and No. 22 in 2024-25. Individually, the program has produced 1 SAC Golfer of the Week, 3 SAC All-Conference honorees, 2 All-Tournament team selections, 1 SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, 1 CSC Academic All-District At-Large recipient, and 3 WGCA All-American Scholars.

Robinson was first promoted to assistant men's golf coach in July 2021 after serving as a graduate assistant for two years. In 2020-21, he helped lead the men’s team to a historic SAC Championship victory and a near-qualification for the NCAA National Championship, missing the cut by just three strokes. He has worked closely with All-Americans Dan Bradbury and Luke Harries, as well as three all-region selections (Bradbury, Harries, Harry Lord).

As a student-athlete, Robinson was one of the most decorated players in Lenoir-Rhyne history. A two-time All-SAC selection and Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar, he earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Lenoir-Rhyne in 2019 and his MBA with a concentration in sport management from LMU in 2021. Brad resides in Harrogate.
