Parker Jones is his first season as the assistant men’s coach for the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitter men’s golf team.
Prior to his arrival in Harrogate, Jones was on staff at Nova Southeastern University where he served as the men’s and women’s assistant golf coach. During his time in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jones coached both Shark programs to top-eight finishes in the national rankings.
A letter winner at two NCAA Division I golf programs, Jones enjoyed a successful playing career at the University of South Alabama before transferring to the University of North Florida for his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, he was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team and competed in the 2014 U.S. Amateur Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
Jones graduated from UNF with an undergraduate degree in sport management and recently completed his master's degree in athletic administration. He is a native of Gainesville, Florida, and currently resides in Harrogate.
