Christoph Willemsen

Christoph Willemsen enters his first season as Lincoln Memorial University’s graduate assistant men’s soccer coach in 2019.
 
Willemsen joins the men’s soccer coaching staff after playing two seasons for the Railsplitters in 2017 and 2018.  In 2017, he was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team and helped lead LMU to a NCAA Tournament bid.  In 2018, Willemsen was tabbed a team captain and helped the Railsplitters to an 8-4-4 overall record.
 
A native of Ede, Netherlands, Willemsen grew up playing for DTS Ede. He made his DTS Ede debut at the age of 15 and was awarded the club’s first team player award of the season at the age of 17 during just his second year playing on the first team. Willemsen is currently a student in LMU’s Master of Business Administration program and is expected to graduate in December 2019.
