Coach Abraham Lascari enters his third season as Head Women’s and Men’s Tennis Coach in 2025-2026. In just two seasons at the helm, Lascari has led both programs to significant milestones, continuing LMU's tradition of excellence on and off the court.
On the men's side, the team made SAC Tournament appearances in both 2024 and 2025. In 2025, the Railsplitters reached new heights, earning a national ranking of #18—the highest in program history—and qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Championship for the first time since 2013. His players have collected 8 CSC Academic All-District honors, 4 SAC All-Conference Singles selections, 6 SAC All-Conference Doubles selections, and 2 SAC Player of the Week awards.
The women’s tennis program has also seen success under Lascari’s leadership, earning a SAC Tournament appearance in 2025. His student-athletes have achieved 5 CSC Academic All-District honors and 2 SAC All-Conference Doubles selections.
Lascari was originally announced as LMU's Head Women's and Men's Tennis Coach in 2023. With an impressive background in coaching and a deep passion for the sport of tennis, he brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to LMU.
Education has been a cornerstone of Lascari's journey. He holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from Limestone University—one with a concentration in Leadership & Management (May 2023) and another in Healthcare Administration (December 2022). He also earned a Master of Divinity in Church Planting and Urban Ministry from Bob Jones University in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Limestone College in 2014.
Lascari is certified in First Aid/CPR/AED and holds credentials as a PTR tennis instructor, NCAA Coach, and is pursuing certification as an ITPA Certified Tennis Performance Specialist.
Prior to joining LMU, Lascari served as Head Women’s and Men’s Tennis Coach at Union College and as Assistant Coach at Limestone University. His coaching emphasizes physical, technical, strategic, and mental development, preparing student-athletes to excel in NCAA Division II competition.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Lascari is an effective communicator with a diverse student-athlete population. He has also led international tennis tours in Mexico, demonstrating his leadership across cultures and age groups.
