Brittany Whatley

Brittany Whatley is entering her first season as the Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at Lincoln Memorial.

Whatley is joining the LMU staff after spending the 2019 season at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro under head coach Janell Howland. During the season, Whatley helped the Spartans to their best finish at the Bryan National Collegiate in seven years.

Prior to UNCG, Whatley was head coach at Indiana University East. In Whatley's only season at Indiana University East, she guided the women's program to a second-place finish at the River States Conference Tournament, the best finish at a conference tournament in program history. The team broke records for lowest team scores throughout the season. She also helped Bre Nowak finish 10th at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship to become the first golf All-American in school history.

Whatley played her collegiate golf at the University of Nevada, Reno and Morehead State, where she capped her college career as a two-time Women’s Collegiate Golf All-American Scholar. She won the Southern Nevada Women’s Amateur in 2016 and was a three-time participant in the Callaway World Junior Championships and a two-time Future Collegians World Tour All-American.

Whatley will be primarily responsible for coaching the LMU women under the guidance of head coach Travis Muncy.

A Henderson, NV native, Whatley graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications.
