Sophomore shooting guard Luquon Choice (Laurens, S.C.) led the 23rd-ranked Railsplitters to victories over Lees-McRae and King with a pair of dazzling shooting performances. Choice went 5-for-8 from beyond the three-point arc and racked up 17 points in LMU's season-opening win over the Bobcats on Friday night at Tex Turner Arena. The next day, he was even better as he poured in 25 points on a 6-of-9 effort from deep to pace a 70-63 win over the Tornado.

All told, Choice was 14-for-22 from the field (63.6 percent) and 11-for-17 from three (64.7 percent) in the first weekend of the 2014-15 campaign. The Laurens, S.C. native added nine rebounds, three assists and four steals in the two-game set.
