Railsplitters' match at Trevecca Nazarene called due to inclement weather

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Railsplitters' (7-4-3) nonconference contest against the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans (5-9-1) in Nashville, Tenn. was halted in the 33rd minute due to inclement weather before ultimately being canceled. The two teams have opted to not reschedule Tuesday evening's washout.
 
The Railsplitters and Trojans were locked in a 0-0 stalemate through nearly 33 minutes of action until rain and lightning overtook the area. Lincoln Memorial had mounted a narrow 7-6 edge on shot attempts with a 4-3 shots on goal advantage.
 
Lincoln Memorial returns to the pitch on Saturday, November 1, making the trek to Wingate, N.C. for a South Atlantic Conference showdown against the Wingate Bulldogs in the regular season finale. The Railsplitters and Bulldogs get underway at 3:30 p.m. in the heart of the Tar Heel State.
