HARROGATE, Tenn. -- Adam Golia (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) and Ronny Paulino (Copiague, N.Y.) scored four goals apiece and the Railsplitters (3-9) registered a dominant 43-16 advantage on shot attempts in a 13-8 win over the North Greenville Crusaders (1-9) at the LMU Lacrosse Complex on Wednesday.
 
Golia churned out a season-high four goals and 10 shot attempts while taking over the team-lead with his 11th assist of the season, and Paulino also reset his career high with four goals and an assist. Dylan Neisler (Detroit, Mich.) had a hand in five goals, scoring two and dishing out three assists, while Justin Stewart (Copiague, N.Y.), Jusstin Ruffin (Copiague, N.Y.) and Dallas Jaros (West Bloomfield, Mich.) added a goal apiece. Ruffin contributed a pair of assists to his stat ledger, while the score was the first of Jaros's collegiate career.
 
The Railsplitters finished with a 43-16 edge on the shot chart with 27 shots on goal. North Greenville landed just 13 shots on frame in the match. It matched the second-most shots for the Railsplitters this season, falling three behind the 46 shots they launched against Lees-McRae.
 
The Crusaders took the early lead as Josh Dolewski scooped up a ground ball and tallied the first marker of the match with 5:27 left in the first stanza, but Golia connected with Paulino at the 2:52 mark to even it at 1-1.
 
Neisler pushed the Railsplitters in front with a goal just four minutes into the second stanza, but North Greenville's Ethan Gray squared the match back up with a goal 14 seconds later.
 
Paulino finished off a pass from Neisler at the 10:25 mark to give the Railsplitters a 3-2 edge and kick start a 5-0 LMU run that carried well into the third period. Stewart scored at 7:53 and Ruffin broke through at 5:56 to bulge the LMU lead to 5-2. Golia then tallied back-to-back goals in the final three minutes of the half, using a pass from Neisler at the 2:44 mark and scoring on a man-up chance with 36 seconds left. Ruffin assisted on that final goal.
 
Paulino added another goal 40 seconds into the second half and the Railsplitters kept the Crusaders off the board until Dieter Treusdell notched an unassisted goal with 8:42 left in the period. Lincoln Memorial did more than erase that goal, though, as Paulino, Golia and Jaros ballooned the lead to 11-3 with goals before time expired in the third.
 
Neisler increased the lead to 12-3 early in the fourth, but the Crusaders made it interesting down the stretch, scoring four unanswered goals to trim the deficit to 12-7 on Gray's score with 3:29 remaining in regulation. North Greenville would not get another goal until Drew Wassenaar scored with nine seconds left, while Golia dusted off his four-goal performance 35 seconds prior to that score to put an end to the Crusaders' miniature spurt.
 
North Greenville committed 32 turnovers in the match, 18 of which were caused by the Railsplitters. JJ Bloom (West Bloomfield, Mich.) and Colin Jackson (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) led the way in that department with four caused turnovers apiece.
 
The Railsplitters finished with a 38-31 edge on ground-ball recoveries, with Josh Hernandez (Middletown, N.Y.) pacing Lincoln Memorial with six ground balls. Bloom and Kyle Fleck (Toledo, Ohio) chipped in with four apiece.
 
Lincoln Memorial completely shut down the Crusaders' man-up offense (0-for-5) and limited North Greenville to a dismal 16-for-26 effort on clears. The Railsplitters finished a perfect 17-for-17 on clearances.
 
Goalkeeper Joe Medel (Virginia Beach, Va.) improved to 3-9 after allowing three goals and making five saves in 48 minutes of action.
 
The Railsplitters complete the South Atlantic Conference schedule on Saturday by paying a visit to the Brevard Tornados for a 1 p.m. start in Brevard, N.C.
