LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The LMU men's tennis team improved to 9-8 on the season as they defeated Bellarmine 6-3 Sunday afternoon.

LMU took two of the three doubles flights. Joshua Coulthard and Moritz Hoerner won at No. 1 doubles 8-6 and Pepe Batalla and Joshua Peress won at No. 2 9-8 (7-4).

Coulthard won at the No. 1 singles flight in three sets 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 while Peress easily won at No. 4 6-0, 6-0. David Segarra had a hard-fought match at No. 5, winning 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) while Guilherme Rocha won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6.

LMU hosts North Georgia in their final non-conference match of the season Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
