CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Riding a South Atlantic Conference-best four-game winning streak, the Railsplitters (4-1, 1-0 SAC) hit the road to Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday to face the Queens Royals (3-2, 0-1 SAC) at 4:30 in an NCAA Division II men's soccer showdown.

Notes on the Railsplitters:

-Lincoln Memorial posted its first shutout of the season and pushed its winning streak to four games with a 2-0 win over Brevard in the SAC opener on Wednesday afternoon at the LMU Soccer Complex. Junior striker Danilo da Silva (Campinas, Brazil) scored both goals, tallying in the 30th and 67th minutes to power the Railsplitters' offensive attack, which outshot the Tornados 12-5. With the win, Lincoln Memorial has now had a winning streak of at least four games in each of the last five seasons.
-Danilo da Silva was held scoreless in the season opener against Montevallo, but has been on a scoring binge since with at least one point in his last four appearances. The Campinas, Brazil native and reigning All-Southeast Region selection has notched a goal in three consecutive matches. Wednesday's match represented the second two-goal game of his career and first since October of last season. Lenoir-Rhyne's Ismael Noumansana is the only SAC player with more than da Silva's four goals.
-Freshman goalkeeper August Ahlin (Stockholm, Sweden) is off to a tremendous start, as he is ranked fourth in the SAC in goals against average (1.03) and fifth in total goals against (5). He is tied with Tusculum's Jorge Alvarez for the SAC lead in wins with four.
-The Railsplitters are lofting up 15.2 shots per game, and nearly 50 percent of those attempts are landing on goal, as Lincoln Memorial is ranked sixth in the SAC in shots on goal percentage with a .447 clip. In Wednesday's win over Brevard, eight of LMU's 12 shot attempts landed on target. The Railsplitters have the fourth-most shots on goal in the SAC this season with 34 through just four appearances.
-The Railsplitters are on pace to shatter last season's mark for assists. In 2015, LMU assisted on just 19 of 31 goals, but the Railsplitters have 10 assists with 10 goals so far. Victor Peres (Brasilia, Brazil) has handed out three of LMU's SAC-leading 10 helpers. Even with that fast start, the program record for assists is likely out of reach, as the 2006 team piled up 62.

Notes on Queens:

-Despite producing an 18-16 shot advantage, the Royals were handed a 1-0 double-overtime loss by Tusculum in the SAC opener on Wednesday, as the Pioneers scored in the 101st minute to snap the Royals' two-match winning streak. Prior to that, Queens had rolled over North Georgia 4-1 and Barton 3-1.
-Queens is 2-0 at home this season and has outscored its opponents by a combined 6-2 margin in those two matches. The Royals dismantled Belmont Abbey 3-1 in the 2016 opener back on September 1 in Charlotte, N.C.
-The Royals are led offensively by seniors Ryan Ejezie and Corey Brown as well as sophomore Edmundo Robinson. Ejezie has accounted for four goals, 20 shots and 10 shots on goal, while Brown has produced a goal, five assists, 12 shots and five shots on goal. Robinson has tallied two goals and an assist with 13 shots. Along with that trio, six other players have put in a point for the Royals this season.
-Sophomore Sergio Lemus has played every minute in goal for the Royals this season, accumulating a 1.17 goals against average and a SAC-leading 25 saves. The Santiago, Chile native is a tough nut to crack with an .806 save percentage, the third-best mark in the SAC.
-Queens finished right behind the Railsplitters in the SAC standings last season in fourth place with a 7-4 league mark. The Royals won seven of their last eight regular-season matches in 2015 before eventually advancing to the SAC Championship final, where they were handed a 2-0 loss by Wingate. In three seasons in the SAC, Queens has only fell outside of the top four once.

Series History:

-The Railsplitters are 3-4 all-time against Queens with a 2-2 mark in the series since the Royals joined the South Atlantic Conference in 2013. Lincoln Memorial has won the last two meetings, though, edging Queens 1-0 in 2014 in Charlotte before pulling out a 2-1 overtime win last season at the LMU Soccer Complex.
-In last season's win over the Royals, Peres scored the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute. George Burne (Carlisle, England) also scored in that contest in the 32nd minute.
