HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Lincoln Memorial's offensive struggles continued Saturday afternoon as the Railsplitters (7-2-3, 2-2-3 SAC) played Coker (2-7-1, 1-5-1 SAC) to a scoreless tie in double overtime.
LMU outshot Coker 21-17, though the Cobras held a 7-6 edge in shots on goal. Coker outshot the Railsplitters 7-3 in the overtime periods and placed four shots on goal to LMU's one. Both teams attempted nine corners. The Cobras committed 26 fouls to Lincoln Memorial's 15.
Caio Bergamo made his second straight start in net for the Railsplitters and made a career-high seven saves for his first shutout. He received some help from the crossbar in the fifth minute on Coker's first shot of the game. Four of his saves came in the overtime periods.
His counterpart, Justin Walker, made six saves and picked up his second shutout. The Coker defense helped him out by blocking six LMU shot attempts in the first half.
Jacob Simonis led all players with four shot attempts.

Victor Peres led the Railsplitters with three apiece.
