HARROGATE, Tenn. – The LMU women's lacrosse team travels to Salisbury, North Carolina this weekend in search of their third straight win and their second South Atlantic Conference win vs. the Catawba Indians Saturday afternoon.
LMU is currently 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in SAC play.
The trio of
Casey Kelly (Ellenwood, Ga.),
Amara Moss (Woodbridge, Va.) and
Kennedy Buechner (Stafford, Va.) lead LMU with nine goals each. Kelly also leads the team with three assists and 17 draws while Moss has 10 ground balls, second only to goalie
Shannon Novak (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.).
Catawba is currently 4-2 overall and 0-1 in the SAC. Gianna Pezzulo and Kirstyn Kruze lead the team with 16 goals each while Madison Anselmo has 56 saves and a 11.09 goals against average.
Following Saturday's match, the team returns home to host UVa-Wise next Thursday.
