HARROGATE, Tenn. – The LMU women's lacrosse team hosts Lees-McRae in the home finale Wednesday afternoon looking for their third straight win.
The game will be broadcast on the LMU Sports Network.
LMU is currently 5-8 on the season while the Bobcats are 3-8. The two teams are meeting for the first time.
Casey Kelly leads the team in overall scoring with 44 points (29g, 15a), draw controls (45) and caused turnovers (22) and is second in ground balls (34).
Jasmin Click is close behind with 35 points (29g, 6 a) and 32 draws won while
Kennedy Buechner now has 26 goals and three assists on the season after her school-record eight goals vs. Mount St. Joseph.
Zoe Zervos has 25 goals,
Amara Moss has 18 and
Heather Roache has 17 goals on the season. Goalie
Shannon Novak has 125 saves and 51 ground balls.
As a team, the Lady Railsplitters are shooting 42.2% to their opponents' 44.3% and 75.9% of their shots are on goal. LMU also holds the advantage over their opponents in draw controls won (175-to-164) and caused turnovers (139-to-122).
The Bobcats are led by Peyton LeCompte's 26 goals and 46 draws won. Sara Henderson has 17 goals and 28 ground balls while Callie Gregg, Tiffany Laster and Constance Madden all have 13 goals apiece. Dayna Decesare has seen the most time in cage for the Bobcats and has 77 goals while giving up 142 goals. Their opponents are outscoring the Bobcats by a 154-88 margin.
LMU will travel to Coker for the regular season finale on April 22.
