ANDERSON, S.C. — No. 5-seeded Lincoln Memorial University (8-3-4, 5-2-3 SAC) hits the road for its first postseason match at No.4-seeded Anderson University (8-4-3, 5-2-3) Tuesday night in the South Atlantic Conference Championship Quarterfinal.
The winner will advance to play the winner of top-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne and No.8 Coker at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Rock Hill, S.C.

- The Railsplitters, Trojans and Wingate Bulldogs all finished the regular-season tied in fourth place with 18 points. Anderson slid into the No. 4 seed by virtue after the Trojans defeated Lenoir-Rhyne in their regular-season finale. LMU was awarded the No. 5 seed by default since the Railsplitters knocked off the Bulldogs, 3-0, on Oct. 6, leaving Wingate as the No. 6 seed.
- LMU finished its regular-season with its fourth tie, a double-overtime, 0-0, draw at Newberry Saturday afternoon. It was the first time the Railsplitters were held scoreless this year.

Victor Peres' five-game scoring streak, where he netted eight goals in that span. Although he didn't find pay dirt, the senior finished the season with a team and SAC-leading 12 goals in 13 games (11 starts).
- Peres' 27 points — 12 goals and three assists — awards him the SAC regular-season scoring title, ahead of LR's Victor Cascon's 23 points. It marks the second consecutive season a Railsplitter held the scoring crown as
Danilo da Silva did with 29 points a year ago. Peres is also the second Railsplitter to crack a double-digit goal total, along with da Silva, since 2013.

Felipe de Sousa finished the year as the team and SAC assist leader with seven.
- The Railsplitters, tied along side Anderson, lead the league with 260 shots and had a league-high 112 corner kicks.
Know the Opponent
- The Trojans have been anchored by goalkeeper Gal Elyashiv, who leads the league in save percentage (.824) and goals-against-average (0.80). Elyashiv is also second in goals against (12) and third in saves (56).
- Lars Kaula leads the Trojans with five goals while Gabriel Homem follows with four. Homem also has a team-leading four assists and Jhon Vaca has three.
- The Trojans have the lowest shot percentage (.081) among SAC teams and is tied third with LMU in shutouts (five).
Head-to-Head
- Anderson stunned the Railsplitters in the two team's regular-season meeting that was held in Knoxville, Tenn. The Trojans stormed back down 2-nil as Homem deposited two goals in the last five minutes to secure a double-overtime, 2-2, draw Sept. 29.
- The draw snapped the Railsplitters' five-game winning streak versus Anderson, and was the first in the series that LMU's leads, 7-4-1.
- In those seven wins, none have came in the playoffs as the Trojans have defeated the Railsplitters in both postseason meetings. The first was a 2-0 loss on Nov. 4, 2011, while the second was the next season, Nov. 4, 2012, in a 1-0 loss in Rock Hill, S.C.
