QUINCY, Ill. – The Lincoln Memorial University men's volleyball team (3-3) plays its first true road games of the season this weekend when the Railsplitters travel to Quincy (6-3) at 8 p.m. on Friday and Lindenwood (5-2) at 5 p.m. on Saturday. LMU lost to Quincy in four sets in Harrogate on March 16 of last season and has never faced Lindenwood.

Evan Cory has recorded a double-digit kill total in four of six matches and leads the team with 58 kills, 3.22 kills per set (25
th nationally) and seven service aces. However, the sophomore from Metairie, Louisiana was held to season-lows of seven kills and a .050 attack percentage against King Tuesday.
Notes on Quincy:
- The Hawks improved to 6-3 with a straight-set sweep at Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) Tuesday. Anthony Winter led the team with 15 kills, and Adam Rogan finished with 34 assists.
- Winter is 13
th nationally with 3.46 kills per set and 12
th with a .397 attack percentage. He leads the team with 97 kills total and has pitched in 10 service aces, 53 digs and 14 blocks.
- Quincy has held opponents to the fourth-lowest attack percentage in the nation at .175.
- The team is also ninth nationally with 9.15 digs per set and eighth with 1.76 service aces per set.
- A win Friday would tie the Hawks' total from the 2017 season when the team went 7-22. Quincy has not finished a season with a winning record since 2012.

- The Lions play Grand Canyon, ranked No. 10 in the AVCA National Coaches Poll, at home on Friday night.
- Lindenwood also participated in the Grow the Game Classic and went 3-0 with straight-set sweeps over Erskine, North Greenville and Barton. The team has also beaten Quincy at home and Sacred Heart on the road—both in four sets. Lindenwood's two losses have been straight-set sweeps at home to McKendree and on the road at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
- Lindenwood has held opponents to the second-lowest attack percentage in the nation at .148. Only Long Beach State (.147) has been better. The team is also second nationally with 10.22 digs per set.
- The Lions' five wins already matches their win total from each of the last two seasons. Lindenwood went 5-19 in 2017 and 5-17 in 2016.
